About Us
Faith Overseas Mission is a church planting ministry in the Philippines.

In 1976 Dr. Pol Apoong and Dr. James Parker founded the First Biblical Baptist Church of Dagupan. The burden to plant other churches led to the founding of Golden State School of Theology, now Faith Baptist Theological School, and the founding of Faith Overseas Mission.
FOM is currently supporting seventeen churches across Pangasinan, two in Manila and one on the island of Negros Oriental. Each are autonomous and pastored by Filipino men.
OUR VISION
WHAT WE DO
Our mission statement is “Planting Churches, Preaching Christ.”
FOM believes in the crucial and instrumental role of the local church in reaching the world with the Gospel of Christ.

Through the partnership of of churches and individuals in America, pastors and churches in the Philippines are equipped to dedicate their lives to this mission, and through our local churches we are seeing the Lord reach communities, families, and individuals for Christ. Each church has weekly home Bible studies, children’s outreaches, and prayer meetings. Not only are these effective in shaping hearts and lives with God’s Word, they strengthen and encourage families; they give the young people a safe and spiritually rewarding way to spend free time; they provide a community and family for those who may be the only believer in theirs.

Our local churches seek to follow the model given in the New Testament and the Lord is blessing them with much fruit.
